Clinical Supervision
I am qualified to provide supervision for LCSW-As in the state of North Carolina and have passed the North Carolina supervision exam.
My goal as a supervisor is to provide associate-level clinicians with the space and tools to grow in the field both professionally and personally. The topics of supervision vary and will be cultivated to fit your needs and your current position. We will discuss cases, ethical dilemmas, professionalism, areas of strength and areas for growth, as well as explore questions and concerns that come up in your work. If you are interested in pursuing private practice, I am also happy to discuss the business side of the field, which is often not discussed in graduate programs.
I have strong familiarity with the LCSW-A and LCSW requirements in the state of North Carolina, including application paperwork, documentation, exams, CEUs, and timelines/deadlines. Please feel free to reach out if you are interested in supervision or have any questions about getting started!
Areas of supervision:
Working with survivors of childhood and adult violence
Working with clients who are currently experiencing domestic violence
Traumatic grief and loss
LGBTQIA+ community
General young adult and adult mental health concerns
Rates:
I have a rate of $80/hour for supervision.
Sometimes the agency you work for will pay for supervision, or help you reduce the costs with a stipend. Payments made toward supervision are tax deductible, and I can provide monthly receipts.
