Caitlin Eckert, MSW, LCSW
Working with a therapist should feel safe, and that is one of my top priorities in the experience of therapy. Some of my clients have had therapists before, some are changing therapists, and some are brand new to therapy. I welcome you wherever you are with this process.
I have a completely online practice, which means we will work together while you are at home, in the office, in your car, or wherever you would like to be for our session. I believe that a good fit between therapist and client is essential, which is why I offer a free 15-minute introductory session to see if we are a good match. After our brief chat, you can take time to decide if you’d like to move forward with scheduling a session and starting therapy together.
Please reach out when you are ready so we can talk further about how I might assist you. I look forward to hearing from you!
Common areas that I treat in therapy include:
Adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and incest
Adult survivors of childhood trauma including abuse, neglect, exposure to violence, and religious trauma
Trauma and violence in adulthood including sexual violence and domestic violence
Processing shame and guilt related to trauma
Sudden and traumatic loss, as well as complicated grief
Life transitions and developmentally expected milestones
Issues experienced by the LGBTQIA+ community
